To join our international team, we’re currently looking for a Software Engineer (Java) who will be responsible for designing and developing software applications with clean and scalable Java code. You will also play an overall important role in the development of web-based software applications and will be involved in every stage of the project, from the initial design to test execution.

You have
-
3-5 years experience as a JAVA developer
-
Prior experience with Spring is strong plus; Docker/Kubernetes background can come in handy, isn’t strictly required
-
Prior experience with CI/CD pipeline development
-
Experience in Python or Go is an advantage
-
Thorough knowledge of AWS environment; Azure, Google Cloud is a plus
-
Basic knowledge in shell scripting, git, markup languages (XML, HTML, Markdown), JSON
-
Experience with SQL, NoSQL, KV stores, message queuing (AMQP/MQTT/JMS/etc.)

Basic understanding of TLS, DNS, TCP

Websockets knowledge is a plus, as well as GraphQL and graph databases in general
-
Professional working English proficiency; any level of German proficiency is a plus

Strong time management, interpersonal & organizational skills
You will be responsible for

Taking part in an entire cycle of software consulting and delivery, from ideation to deployment

Using the most efficient delivery practices to improve software delivery process & speed

Creating quality code & implementing good practices that bring measurable value to the end product

Designing solutions & choosing technologies that solve the clients’ problems while staying within the project boundaries

Providing timely support in troubleshooting issues

Working in product-focused teams to build state-of-the-art customer experiences

Utilizing the latest technology in building highly scalable digital products & services
